The King’s Academy Knights Battalion, a Christ-centered, Honor Unit with Distinction, is the first and only homeschool battalion in the nation. Anchored to the the school’s goals of truth, excellence, and service, our crucial mission is twofold: to equip and encourage our cadets to glorify the Lord with their whole lives and to motivate them to be influential citizens. The King's Academy Knights Battalion is the first and only hybrid-homeschool JROTC program in the nation. Our commitment to excellence and leadership sets us apart. We round out the program with fun activities such as field trips to various Atlanta metro locations, formal JROTC ball, and an awards ceremony.
The JROTC mission is to motivate young people to become better citizens. Within this context, our goal is to make your student as successful as possible as a high school student and future adult citizen of our country. It is not the intent of JROTC to recruit your child for future military service; however, several students have chosen this noble and rewarding path following graduation from high school. Your student will be challenged intellectually, physically and morally within the JROTC curriculum. We teach our cadets community service, academic excellence, and leadership.
In addition to the robust JROTC curriculum that makes up the core of the schedule from 8 - 11 a.m., your cadet has the opportunity to participate in more than ten exciting special teams, which typically meet from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on their session days, with competitions on select Saturdays. Your cadet can join one, some, none, or all of the special teams.
